WHAT’S WRONG WITH CANADIAN ELECTION? EVERYTHING!

Liberty and Freedom Now!

The next Election will be the same as every

other one. Each party bashing the other.

The Politicians already have their agenda and it doesn’t include the people of Canada.

We have serious problems in Canada and they are not being addressed by the politicians.

Our movement is a back to basics restoring civil rights  of Canadians.

  • WE must have the right to raise our own children, without judicial interference, we must have the right to freedom and liberty. It is our right as mandated in the Charter of Rights. WE want equal shared parenting, after Divorce. It is a parent’s right.
  • WE must have the right to freedom and liberty. We have too many laws telling us what we can eat, drink, drive, smoke, say, not say etc.   This is our Constitutional right under Sect. 15.1 of the The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
  • WE must have a free press and be heard. Our media is not paying attention. Especially during elections, all we hear is the blather of the politicians.  WE the people want to be heard.
  • WE must have the right of citizens to be heard in our House of Commons and Provincial Legislatures. Do you realize that we are not allowed to speak in the House of Commons or the Provincial Legislatures of the Country?  It is our government and we are not allowed to speak. Go figure. Who are these bloated politicians, anyway?
  • WE must have the right to hire and fire politicians, Prime Ministers and judges. These people rule our lives and they have done a terrible job! They are accountable to no one.
  • WE must be safe. The Young Offenders’ Act is a disgrace. Juvenile delinquents and killers get community service and they remain anonymous.  You could be working beside someone who burned down a building in your community and not know it. We want their names made public.
  • WE want Children’s Aid Societies held accountable for destroying hundreds of thousands of children in Canada. This “Charitable Society” has taken it upon themselves to apprehend our children with the approval of Supreme Court Judges based on nothing.  They pick vulnerable parents and families and set in motion a cycle of ruin for everybody for their own profitability. They would not be in business if they assisted families. They have to destroy them. Then they receive funding, donations and approval from our government.
  • WE want the police to protect us and lay Criminal Code Charges against whomever commits a crime against us and violates our personal liberty and freedom. Currently they don’t.
  • WE want tax breaks! According to the Fraser Institute, Tax Freedom Day in Canada is June 14 as of 2008, at a tax rate of 44.8%, one of the highest rates in the world. Do you realize you are working 165 days to fund your government before you receive a penny?  That’s nearly half the year!
  • We must not vote for  politicians and political candidates who dare to make vote buying policies to spend our tax dollars, at the expense of the taxpayer, for whatever they think will get them elected.
  • WE want a tax cut of 10% to start for every taxpayer in Canada. No clawbacks with other charges to offset it like the phony carbon tax.
  • No raising taxes, hst or fees.  Clean up your own act.
  • More to come.

SAY NO TO THE COUP IN OTTAWA!
We are totally against the Government takeover happening in Ottawa. No one consulted the voters.
We just had an election and we have the government that the majority asked for.
We don’t want an ex Prime Minister Jean Chretien pulling the strings behind the scenes and
making a winner out of a loser, Stephane Dione.  Jack Layton didn’t win the election and neither
did the Bloc.
We the people are outraged that a 360 degree shift would possibly be allowed to happen without the authority
of the voters!
Be loyal Canadians, say no to a coup. We will not go along like passive sheep that allows corrupt politicians to
make their own agenda.
No to the coup! This is a totalitarian dictatorship!

Here’s why I didn’t vote in this Federal Election and won’t be voting anytime soon.

WE HAVE NO VOICE!

READ MY LIPS, WE HAVE NO VOICE!

Dear Committee,
You asked for input into why people are not voting.
I will tell you why I’m not voting anymore in this country until reforms are implemented.
  1. Candidates avoid the public’s input. They only go to places where they have their entourage.
  2. Candidates don’t return phone calls or answer questionnaires.
  3. Your D250 @ 9 million was a complete scam.
  4. Once elected, both Prov and Fed reps avoided us.
  5. Prov. Chuck Porter banned us from his office and refused to look into judicial baby snatching.
  6. Provincial Progressive Conservatives, twice refused us membership thereby violating our Charter of Rights Sect. 3. The right to vote, be a member and run for public office.
  7. Scott Brison, MP did nothing about solving our 17 years of torture and judicial abuse.
  8. We get rejection letters from the police, the PM, the MP’s, the Ombudsman, the Human Rights Commission and thousands of lawyers.
  9. There is no access to The Guaranteed Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
  10. There are no lawyers that practice The Guaranteed Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms for individuals.
  11. There is no funding for Charter Rights.
  12. The Guaranteed Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms is not accessible in Provincial court, Federal Court or Supreme Court. Been there.
  13. There is no tracking system to moniter where our complaints go in government. They go in the garbage.
  14. There is no citizens’ sessions like the US Congressional hearings, that result in new legislation.
  15. There is no voice, no private members bills allowed.
  16. The Government expects people to stand on the street and get signatures for petitions, something they won’t do.
  17. We are not allowed to address the House of Commons or the Legislative Assembly. We are Canadians and we are denied in our own government house!
  18. The judicial abuse of this country has been allowed to continue, unrelentlessly, by all politicians.
  19. We have phoned, faxed, emailed and sent flyers to all the House of Commons MP’s  and all NS MLAs. Not one replied.
  20. Quite frankly the politicians don’t give a damn about Canadians.
  21. Freedom of Information is a joke!
  22. The cost of running as an Independent is too high and keeps good people out. It should be free and no list of names required.  We would like to serve our country but the restrictions make it too difficult.
Live Free!
Sincerely,
Connie Brauer

Conservatives Win in Canadian Election

A stronger minority
Liberals suffer major losses as voters return Harper as PM

Conservative Leader Stephen Harper delivers his speech at his election headquarters after winning a second minority government on Tuesday. (TOM HANSON / CP)

OTTAWA — Stephen Harper’s Conservatives won a muscular minority mandate Tuesday night as Canadian voters entrusted the prime minister with the levers of government in tough economic times — but not a blank cheque.

The outcome saw the Liberals sink to their lowest level of popular support since the election of 1867 — and surely means a third change of leadership in five years for what was long dubbed Canada’s natural governing party.

The Conservatives were headed for 143 seats, up from 124 in the last election, while the Liberals were down to 77 from 103. The NDP was up by nine seats to 38 and the Bloc Quebecois shed two seats to 48. Two Independents also won.

If Harper is expecting an easy ride in 2009, the economy may dictate otherwise.

How long before Canadians return to the polls — this was the third election in four years — could well rest upon the Conservative minority’s ability to avoid a deficit next year in the face of slumping revenues and increasing social costs.

Harper said late in the campaign that a second minority would automatically give him a stronger mandate than his first, but NDP Leader Jack Layton weighed in with a warning late Tuesday.

Canada’s abandoned woman still in Dubai, still no passport.

Canada ‘abandoned’ woman
Dubai still holding on to Sydney woman’s passport, her boyfriend says

Nicole Stroop-Gillis of Syndey has been detained in Dubai for two weeks. Her boyfriend, Marc Wood, is complaining about how the Canadian authorities are handling the case. (Contributed)

It’s been two weeks since authorities in Dubai detained a Nova Scotia woman and her boyfriend says Canadian authorities aren’t doing enough to help her case.

Nicole Stroop-Gillis had been working as a civilian supply technician at Kandahar Airfield in southern Afghanistan since July when she flew out Oct. 1 to see Marc Wood in South Africa.

During what was supposed to be a 15-hour layover in Dubai, the 34-year-old Sydney woman had a run-in with an airport security officer that resulted in her prolonged stay in the United Arab Emirates.

“I am disgusted in the response or rather lack thereof that we are receiving from both the Canadian Consulate and the involved parties in Dubai,” Mr. Wood said Tuesday in an e-mail.

Ms. Stroop-Gillis was arrested at the airport for disrespecting a security official and charged with being drunk and disorderly.

She was released the next day, but officials in Dubai are still holding on to the Sydney woman’s passport and there’s no sign of when her case will come to court.

They’ve told Ms. Stroop-Gillis it all depends on whether the airport security officer accepts her request for forgiveness.

Authorities in Dubai have detained a Nova Scotia woman for the past 10 days after she had a run-in with airport security.

Nicole Stroop-Gillis had been working as a civilian supply technician at Kandahar Airfield in southern Afghanistan since July when she flew out Oct. 1 for a 19-day vacation. The 34-year- old was headed to South Africa to see her boyfriend and was only planning to stop in Dubai for about 15 hours.

“She hasn’t slept in two days, so she’s beyond being a basket case,” her mother, Sharon Gillis, said Thursday in an interview from her home in Sydney.

“She’s terrified, to say the least.”

The trouble started when Ms. Stroop-Gillis took a taxi from one airport terminal to another to meet a friend who was also flying that day.

“She went from one to the other and then came back, and was about to go out again and she was stopped by this security person,” said her mom.

“He told her that that was very bad and she shouldn’t have done that. And she said, ‘I’m sorry. I didn’t know.’ “

The security officer questioned her and eventually accused her of disrespecting him, Ms. Gillis said.

Her daughter now faces a charge of being drunk and disorderly.

“She had had a couple of beer on the plane and, of course, that’s a no-no in Dubai,” Ms. Gillis said.

Police took her to a nearby hospital where a blood sample was taken, said her mom.

She was placed in a deportation centre at the airport and authorities took away her passport, Ms. Gillis said.

“She had been told when she was booked in that they didn’t know why she was there and that she would likely go before the prosecutor in the morning, pay a fine and be gone. Well, that didn’t happen.”

Officials released Ms. Stroop-Gillis from custody Oct. 2. She’s now staying in a Dubai hotel because she can’t leave the United Arab Emirates without a passport.

Canadian consular officials have told her the results of the case against her could range from charges being dropped, to a fine, to jail time.

Ms. Stroop-Gillis made her first court appearance Sunday, said her mother.

“She was quite sure that when she went in, it would be the fine and (she would be) gone and that would be it,” Ms. Gillis said.

“When she got there, she was told that, no, it was being left up to this security guard. If he didn’t accept her apology, she would have to go to court because he was the second-highest-ranking security officer at the airport and this was very serious and he was very offended and she’d disrespected him greatly.”

Ms. Stroop-Gillis has tried to apologize to him in person and in writing, said her mother.

“He refuses all contact. So it’s pretty impossible to go that route.”

Ms. Stroop-Gillis was reluctant to discuss the matter when reached by telephone in Dubai.

“I’m sorry. I’m really afraid of what it will do,” she said, referring calls to her mother.

On an Internet site, she wrote that if the official doesn’t accept her apology, she may have to wait months for another court date.

“He is the only person who can have the charges dropped or prevent the court hearing from going forward,” she wrote in a Facebook posting. “Please, just cross digits/pray/write letters to MPs, whatever you have time or inclination for to help me get out of here. Any support or assistance is appreciated very much — not just by me but by those who love me.”

A spokesman with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade said Canada is aware of the temporary detention of the Canadian citizen in Dubai.

Rodney Moore said in an e-mail that consular officials in Dubai and Canada are actively providing assistance and support to Ms. Stroop-Gillis and her family but cannot provide further details on the case because of privacy rules.

“There is no acceptable legal limit of alcohol consumption,” says an online travel report for Dubai prepared by Foreign Affairs. “Individuals may be required to take a blood and/or urine test if they are suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If the tests are positive, travellers may be prosecuted.”…….

What has Canada done to help her come home? Nothing!

No Response to Questionaire by leaders or Candidates

The leaders  and the local candidates of the

Canadian political parties don’t give a damn

what Canadians think, or what they want.

I don't care about you

I don't care a thing about you.

I don't care about you either.

I don't care about you either.

Nope, don't care!

Nope, don't care!

Who me? Naaah

Who me? Naaah

I can't be found!

I can't be found!

They have their own agenda, make their own rules, give themselves their own raises and don’t give

a damn about Canadians once the polls are closed.

Oh Canada, the True North Strong and Free.

Bull shit!

Does the prohibition against written pledges in section 550 of the Canada Elections Act prohibit a candidate from giving an election promise in writing?

Does the prohibition against written pledges

in section 550 of the Canada Elections Act

prohibit a candidate from giving an election

promise in writing?

Section 550 of the Act provides that:

No candidate shall sign a written document presented by way of demand or claim made on him or her by any person or association of persons, between the issue of the writ and polling day, if the document requires the candidate to follow a course of action that will prevent him or her from exercising freedom of action in Parliament, if elected, or to resign as a member if called on to do so by any person or association of persons.

Section 550 does not prohibit election promises made by a candidate to the electorate during an election campaign.

During an election period the candidate is prohibited from giving to someone or some group a document which will commit the candidate, if and when the document is subsequently presented to him or her, to take some specific action in Parliament (or commit him or her to resign) which restricts his or her freedom of action in Parliament.

No Political Candidates Answered the Civil Rights Questionaire.

Connie says... No Votes! They don't deserve votes!

Connie says... No Votes!

Folks,

To date no political candidates have  answered the civil rights questionnaire I sent them.  See previous post.

They aren’ t interested in the Civil Rights of the Canadian people.

They have shown that time and again.

They are not worth voting for. WE demand our candidates address our issues, not theirs.

NO EQUAL SHARED PARENTING=NO VOTES!

NO CIVIL RIGHTS= NO VOTES!

NO CHARTER RIGHTS = NO VOTES!

NO DEMOCRACY = NO VOTES!

Nova Scotia’s 250 Democracy celebration is a joke.

The Charter of Rights is the biggest HOAX

against CANADIANS in the history of Canada!

Excerpt from Democracy watch.

A DEMOCRACY IS a society in which all adults have easily accessible, meaningful, and effective ways:

  1. to participate in the decision-making processes of every organization that makes decisions or takes actions that affect them, and;
  2. to hold other individuals, and those in these organizations who are responsible for making decisions and taking actions, fully accountable if their decisions or actions violate fundamental human rights, or are dishonest, unethical, unfair, secretive, inefficient, unrepresentative, unresponsive or irresponsible;

so that all organizations in the society are citizen-owned, citizen-controlled, and citizen-driven, and all individuals and organizations are held accountable for wrongdoing.

Ha! This is simply not happening here in Canada!

TO VOTE OR NOT TO VOTE, THAT IS THE QUESTION… A CANDIDATE’S QUESTIONAIRE

TO VOTE OR NOT TO VOTE,
THAT IS THE QUESTION!
Connie says No Equal Shared Parenting, No Votes!

Connie says No Equal Shared Parenting, No Votes!

Dear Candidate,
Here we are in another election and nothing has been accomplished to date  to restore equal parenting rights to parents of Divorce. Focus on our  Family
We still do not have a voice in our own government.  We can not enter the House of Commons and address the politicians.  Focus on our Democracy.
We still do not have access to our Guaranteed Charter of Rights. Not in courts and not in government.  Focus on our Rights.
  1. What is your party doing to restore equal shared parenting, after divorce, if you are elected?
  2. What is your party doing to provide access to citizens who have complaints, to their government leaders, if you are elected?
  3. What is your party doing to ensure that all people in Canada have immediate, uncomplicated and economical access to their Guaranteed Charter of Rights and Freedoms, in court or in Government, if you are elected?
Your response or lack of response, will be passed on to the media. We want it in writing.

NO EQUAL PARENTING = NO VOTES!!!! LISTEN UP CANDIDATES!

TO ALL POLITICIANS AND ALL POLITICAL PARTIES.

BE ON NOTICE RIGHT NOW!  Parents, spouses, grandparents and children want to change things for the better.

IF YOU DON’T REVISE THE CANADIAN DIVORCE ACT AND THE RECOMMENDED CHILD SUPPORT GUIDELINES

TO INCLUDE BOTH PARENTS, MAKING DECISIONS ABOUT THEIR CHILDREN WITHOUT THE CONSTANT INTERFERENCE OF THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM, WE ARE NOT GOING TO VOTE FOR YOU- EVER!

What’s wrong with the Canadian Divorce Act and the Federal Child Support Guidelines?

Everything!

  • One parent is named the custodial parent and one parent is the non custodial parent.
  • The custodial parent and the judges make all parenting and child support decisions.
  • The non custodial parent is pushed out of the nest and isn’t allowed by the judges to make ANY parenting decisions again.
  • The custodial parent gets it all and the non custodial parent gets nothing.
  • The custodial parent gets the house, the car, the kids and child support.
  • The non custodial parent has to beg to see his/her kids and the judges do nothing.
  • The custodial parent can lie, cheat and steal and the judges allow it.
  • The non custodial parent pays unlimited child support for as long as the judges order it.
  • The age of majority, 19, is not respected and fraudulent child support is extorted, endlessly.
  • The child support tables are padded with spousal support.
  • The child support tables are taxable to the paying parent and non taxable to the receiving parent.
  • This allows a windfall of money to the custodial parent.
  • No receipts or accountability of any kind is required of the custodial parent.
  • In the beginning the child support tables require an average of the last three years which means a retired parent or unemployed parent will have to pay child support at the full employment rate.
  • All judges orders are final and can not be changed unless a court application is made.
  • This results in the continuing court cycle of begging judges to change orders and the children change, grow up, become adults etc.
  • It’s another tax grab by the legal industry as parents are always advised to hire a lawyer.
  • It is unconstitutional to have the judges making decisions on behalf of parents.
  • Two parents have children and two parents should be involved in the decision making process.
  • This is a lifetime endeavour and compromise and resistance are all a part of life.
  • Non custodial parents are the only parents in all of Canada that are forced to pay for University, continued education, private apartments of adults, extended vacations, alternative medicine etc. through a broker, called Maintenance Enforcement.
  • Non custodial parents are the only parents who are not allowed to parent their own children.
  • Judges take over.
  • The custodial parent is not required to co operated about anything. In fact, non cooperation, even violence ensures the continued child support long after the children are adults.
  • Where’s the The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms?
  • We want equal parenting with the right to raise our children as we see fit.
  • We are not in Iraq !
